Avoid

Butter

  • Mostly saturated fat (small amount of natural trans fat is okay)
  • Better than margarine and alternatives
  • Make sure it does not contain hydrogenated oils

Spinach

  • One of highest oxalate foods - leads to kidney stones
  • Cooking may remove oxalates?

Salmon

If not wild caught, it is likely GMO
